ASO is situated in Ospitaletto (Brescia), alongside the highway Milan-Venice, 10 Km west from Brescia, in an important iron-metallurgical district in the northern of Italy.

On an area of about 100,000 m2, about 30,000 m2 are covered: there are the works, the offices and some other technological buildings.

The production premises include the scrap area, one electric arc furnace, three ladle furnaces with three vacuum degassing plants capable to treat up to 53 tons of liquid steel each cast .
The three pouring pits are equipped with their relating wheeled ladles which are able to guarantee the full control and recording of the pouring parameters.

Ingots get cooled (in the moulds or by controlled cooling or annealing furnaces), then marked and finally checked by the quality department before shipment.

Two areas (one indoor and one outdoor) are equipped to allocate ingotsready for dispatch.
The indoor areas also include the mechanical and electric workshops and the spare parts storehouse.
